I have on multiple occasions had the same complaint to Chatham Parkway Subaru in Savannah, GA. When you take the car in for a simple oil change they do their "full inspection". They then come and tell you that the car is ready, but oh by the way we found this or that issue that really need to be addressed soon. The car as a hole is great. But do not get one with a navigation unit in it. I am waiting for my 3rd replacement unit as all before have failed. Also the Ipod connection is usless as it frezzes up any Ipod connected to it after a few songs. Have had three different service managers from three different dealers stating that this problem exist with a LOT of the Foresters and no fix has been found yet but to keep replacing the head unit until you... Poor customer service when i took my car in to have the annoying wind sound from my window fixed. Treated like i was ***. Told there was no problem. Service advisor VERY RUDE!!! Window still not fixed.

A couple of months ago we took our 2009 Subaru Impreza in for a loud hum coming from the wheels. Instead of trying to find the problem they sold us 4 new tires and an alignment for $700.00+ dollars. When my wife went to drop the car off she asked them if they could give her a ride they simply said no so my wife had to stay there while the work was done. My car was serviced at a Riverhead Bay motors in Riverhead, NY. 1- My registration sticker was removed on accident because I was told they could've thought my car was a trade in. 2- the mechanic that worked on my car was negligent and broke pieces of my car. 3- my air conditioning dial will now not go all the way to cold. I went to the subaru dealership for a test drive. A dealer over there tells me they are so confident that they wont even let anyone drive there cars before doing some deal to buy. I left that dealership and checked for test drive appointment online there were options to make that and I did it. Absolute worst car I've ever owned, will never buy another subaru as long as I live!! It has spent morebtime in at subaru dealership then I can drive it and guess what...back again! I need a bus pass to go with my car payment! Still dont know whats wrong with it! Very bad experience with this car, but I learned to never get another.

If you buy a Subaru you better make sure the car is equipped as purchased before you pay for it. Once you leave as I did at their Costa Mesa California dealership they never return your calls or full fill the promised add on's. I later contacted their corporate location Subaru of America and still could not get an answer or help in resolving the problem. they go on and on about how they care about their customers and their great service but... We received the recall on the Tanaka airbag on a Saturday - we are leaving for a camping trip on Tuesday - a car full of kids and camping gear heading to Oregon. The replacement for the recall will not be available for for 8 weeks. Subaru of Glendal Tomas said they would get a rental but only play $50 a day which just gets you a car not a Subaru - not a Subaru equivalent.
