Subarus are great cars but your repair/service depts don't understand customer service. After several letters/emails from you about the airbag recall but also stating the replacement airbags were not available, finally I called my local (Santa Fe, NM) Subaru dealer and they said come on in. I had my airbags replaced but on driving home several dashboard warning lights that I had never seen before came on. I called Subaru and left a message,... Read more

I have a suburu outback 2005 with appx 60,000 mi. I went in for the 60,000 tune up and it cost me $1500.00. 1 month later The car sounds like a race car on the highway and I am told I have $3000.00 worth of needed work. I drive my car like an old lady. I treat it very well. So now Suburu's cost of a vehicle ends up being like I purchased a high end car. Catalytic converters go on this car too often. What are you building? I had a legacy that was... Read more

SEPTEMBER 20, 2016 AT 6:11 PM Subaru makes great cars but their car repair and service depts don't seem to understand customer service. I took my 2007 Outback in for an airbag recall. This was after several letters/emails from Subaru telling me about the recall but also telling me each time that the replacement airbags were not yet available. Finally I called my local (Santa Fe, New Mexico) Subaru dealer and they said come on in. I had my... Read more

I am the unhappy owner of a 2013 Subaru Forester. It consumes oil at a rate of 1 1/2 - 2 quarts per oil change, and you know what? According to Subaru America this is within the acceptable limits! In the 3 1/2 years of ownership I have had gaskets replaced, short block replaced, gaskets replaced again. The dealership ASSURED me that Subaru would stand behind the repairs when they put in a new block. I feel more like they had me stand out in... Read more

And that I noticed the engine vibrates when the A/c it turned on. He stated that it is normal for the engine to vibrate. and to see him on Sat... Read more

Hello, I would like to tell Subaru my experience with Hunt Valley Motors, Cockeysville, MD. I took my Subaru forester 2015 there August 15, 2016. The dash warning lights came on (uphill assist, service engine and cruze lights). Well after having the car for 2 weeks they called and said the problem was the alternator. They said they had to order it and it was on back order from where ever they were ordering it from and it wouldn't be in until... Read more

I own a 2006 Subaru Forester purchased from Morristown Subaru. This is my third forester and in the past happy with the service. When I purchased car from this dealer they included lifetime free oil change. They now stated only 2 free oil changes per year and charged me $35.00 and tax for the change. I agreed upfront and for 10 years they honored the agreement but no longer. No email to alert me to the change. I will now rethink if I want... Read more

As other consumers of this brand of vehicle, I too had a horrific time regarding the phone customer service "team". I figure they have maybe 5 people to answer the phones of consumers based on wait times ( 30 min.+ wait time) Also, I don't appreciate being told by a customer service rep that has probably 5% automotive/mechanic training, that I'm wrong. ( mind you I'm a licensed mechanic by the FAA and certified auto mechanic ) What I'm being... Read more

I've never had such an aweful experience as I have had with my 2013 SubaruLegacy. First month had to replace the seat Car Drives like a tank but since I've aways had HONDAs I wasn't sure if I was just spoiled by how great HONDAs drive first 6 months the paint started CHIPPING Thinking it was a BIG mistake to change up to a SUBARU now in year 3 and only 57,000 miles the transmission had to be replace. Loaner car was great so I hoped that once... Read more
