What ever possessed you to do away with Cypress Green as an option for the 2017 Outback? I was looking to purchase one but cannot stomach the horrid green ya'll chose. Not sure what my options are now but it won't be a 2017. That's for sure. James English Houston Texas

I have a brand new 2017 Subaru Forester -- had it about a week. Out of the blue the "check engine" light is on. Read the manual, and re-did the gas cap as directed. Also have the cruise control icon flashing, the "hill assist" icon illuminated, and the "x-drive" icon illuminated. Sat in the driveway on Sunday and read through the manual doing all the steps as instructed. Nothing worked. Call the local dealership today (not where I purchased the... Read more

I had a recall for my 2010 windshield wiper motor so I took it to Subaru of Glendale where I always go. I have been waiting 2 hours and my car was just parked and no one even started working on it. The person, Harry moronyan, kept telling me that they were working on it. He was lying through his teeth. I am still waiting.

My 2015 outback starting burning oil at 29,000 miles. The dealership and factory are refusing to change the motor, and are literally giving me a run around. BUYERS BEWARE!! Look up subarus oil consumption issues before you buy this Japanese junk!!

My car was serviced at Serramonte Subaru in Colma California. Excellent service. I am very satisfied because while waiting for parts for the airbag, Subaru rented a car for me from Sept 7, 2016 thru November 2, 2016. I bought my first Subaru Outback in 1997. Second Outback in 2003. Third one a Legacy in 2005, Fourth one was a Baja in 2006 and our Fifth one, an Outback in 2011. I pass the old ones on to my sons and daughters inlaw. Just a great... Our 2013 Subaru Outback started making a whirring noise two months ago, slight at first then louder. We live 120 miles from the dealer. We've had oil changes in our local garage. We priced a replacement CVT from the local shop for around $2800 for a remanufactured part. After driving to Subaru dealer for diagnostic (weren't sure what it was) they assured us it was the wheel bearing. Turned out it was the CVT. They quoted us $7000 for the... Read more

The car is good. But I'll get in an accident because of the touch screen and poorly designed entertainment panel. 1) The gas mileage reader tells you how many miles you have remaining before empty. But it stops reading at 70 mi. So I'm on the highway and it stops at 70 and I don't know that it's stopped measuring for a while, when I notice it's no longer resetting. This system should, at 70, start blinking red or some voice to tell us this... Read more

I have the same code as most, misfire number one. Took it to Herb Gordon Subaru to repair. They had the car all day and ran every test and could not find anything wrong. Of course I was paying per hour. I called Subaru and they would not help and said I have to take it to Subaru and I told them I just did and they could not find the problem. I called the dealer and they said we can fix it and to bring it in and I replied, it was just there and... Read more

We bought the car and one of the "special" deals with the dealership is that you get free oil changes for life. Not a big problem when you can schedule and go get the oil changed. Now the have this "EXPRESS" service on a first come first serve basis. The first time it was 2 and 1/2 hours to get into the oil change, and then the 20 minutes to have the oil changed. 3 HOURS!!! Next oil change was only 1 and 3/4 hours, then 20 minutes for oil... Read more

I love my Impreza that I bought 2 months ago. But don't like that I had to take it in 4 times. First two times couldn't get the Weather/Gas/Sports etc to work on radio. They finally figured I should get a new radio/nav system. Third visit installed it. Fourth visit returned because they forgot to give me the SD card for the nav. Then I notice nav is different from originally on car. Do some investigation and find out the replacement radio has... Read more
