Fox Subaru in Grand Rapids, Michigan - Bluetooth on Subaru Forester 2015

Forester 2015 has the absolute worst Bluetooth voice recognition system. Both my husband and I have 2015 Foresters. I have the XT and he doesn’t. I can say “call home” and I’ll get “sue and jack”. I’ll say, “Liz’s phone” and get “Alicia’s Phone”, I’ll say “don’s mobile “ and get “last number called”. They aren’t even close. There have been times when I’ve said who I wanted 5 or 6 times before the right one came up. My husband keeps getting calls on his cell phone, not through the Bluetooth even when he’s connected. The dealership just shrugs and says that’s the 2015. Wanna reads it in on a newer model?

I bought a used 2015 Forester. The informational display is a nightmare to try and figure out. Just trying to set the clock, or even worse setting up the Bluetooth requires a degree in electrical engineering. I'm sure the team that designed the display are very smart...

It really isn't all that difficult to set the clock. You act as if you are trying to fly the Space Shuttle.

You can find YouTube videos that will walk you right through the procedure.

If you went to your local dealer and were nice, I am sure they would be happy to show you. You bought a great car, but hate the clock settings so you post nonsense on the Internet?

Vehicle started using oil at 50000 miles??? The rear tires only last 30000 miles, the alignment is fine! Owned a 92 Legacy, best vehicle I’ve ever owned, main reason I bought my Forester. May be my last Subaru.

I agreed with you . Had a Rock solid 2014 legacy .

The AWD was flawless . Traded in on new 2018 Forester . The AWD is worse than a standard front wheel drive vehicle. I feel very unsafe in this car .

I think raising the ground clearance of this car significantly impacted it s AWD performance , I am embarrassed to be passed by non AWD cars in mild Inclement weather. Not what Subaru boasts .
