My 2015 outback starting burning oil at 29,000 miles. The dealership and factory are refusing to change the motor, and are literally giving me a run around. BUYERS BEWARE!! Look up subarus oil consumption issues before you buy this Japanese junk!!

we also have a 2014 outback that started using oil after 30,000 miles & my wife sister car doing the same thing. so now we have to keep a quart of oil in car where ever we go.Had two oil consumption test done but of course it pass because it has to use a quart of oil in 1200 miles . company still giving us run around.

My car was serviced at Serramonte Subaru in Colma California. Excellent service. I am very satisfied because while waiting for parts for the airbag, Subaru rented a car for me from Sept 7, 2016 thru November 2, 2016. I bought my first Subaru Outback in 1997. Second Outback in 2003. Third one a Legacy in 2005, Fourth one was a Baja in 2006 and our Fifth one, an Outback in 2011. I pass the old ones on to my sons and daughters inlaw. Just a great car made by a great company. My wife told me in 1997 to buy stock in Subaru. I didn't do it. Instead I bought the cars. Bill Russell bils6t3@aol.com

I love my Impreza that I bought 2 months ago. But don't like that I had to take it in 4 times. First two times couldn't get the Weather/Gas/Sports etc to work on radio. They finally figured I should get a new radio/nav system. Third visit installed it. Fourth visit returned because they forgot to give me the SD card for the nav. Then I notice nav is different from originally on car. Do some investigation and find out the replacement radio has older version of software - looked different and didn't get me to one place it had before. So I lost the current nav software version. But I was able to update the maps. So I am living with the old version for now since it can't be updated (don't understand why or why I got an old radio). But I'm not taking it back for a fifth or sixth time. I do like the car but it was between the Impreza and Mazda 3. Now I'm wondering if I made the right choice if this is what I can expect from my dealer.

Subaru Of America in Edison, New Jersey - Purchase a car

Tried to buy a Forester from one of the dealers in NJ. Visited them 3 times and was not able to close the deal. After the 2nd visit the sales manager call me to visit the dealership to settle on a agreeable deal. On my last visit, the salesperson agrees on a deal, and asks me to sign off or provide other documentation to show my intent. After he visits the salesperson returns indicating that the manager had a different number. i feel that the whole buting experience a waste of time, effort and confidence on the dealership and the subaru product. I think, it would be wiser to revert back to the Accura. Though expensive, the sales agent were more insync with customer expectations.

Get a free consult from a local attorney to explore your options. Don't ignore it if they have indeed sued you.

Apparently, you signed a purchase agreement of some sort and then backed out of the deal. Get some legal advice, even if it costs you a few bucks.
