This dealer is very deceptive in their sales practices. They showed us a warranty package and told us the platinum included everything with the price shown of $1690, but in reality they slipped it to us for $3900. The way they worked it was during the closing they just asked do you want this and do you want that never telling us that these were all extra charges. I didn't sit in on the final sale because my back hurt to much, but the next morning I reviewed the figures and you dealer told me tough ***. When I asked my stepdaughter about the figure she said she asked them about that and they just blew her of and pushed my wife to sign so they sold us a car for $28,000 that books for $18,000 2014 Forester These type dearler give you all a black eye and should be reprimanded. I would like to think you should help us, we are on SS and my wife is so depressed she can't sleep.

I have a suburu outback 2005 with appx 60,000 mi. I went in for the 60,000 tune up and it cost me $1500.00. 1 month later The car sounds like a race car on the highway and I am told I have $3000.00 worth of needed work. I drive my car like an old lady. I treat it very well. So now Suburu's cost of a vehicle ends up being like I purchased a high end car. Catalytic converters go on this car too often. What are you building? I had a legacy that was a great car, I no longer love you suburu. You have lost my affections!Take pride in what you build!

2012 Subaru Of America - Impreza Car Review

2012 impreza owner i will never purchase a subaru again my first is my last . Your so called compansation for my oil defect is an insult. I have to add a quart of oil at least every 1000. Miles. Who saves Reciepts for a quart of oil. Way to go. the customer gets nothing but the lawyers get rich your going to lose return customers. What about the devalue? whos going to want to buy my car after they find out its oil issue. All i can do is never purchase another subaru.

I too have the same "oil consumption" issue and wish Subaru would stand behind these cars. Years ago, I had an issue with a Ford Van and Ford told me to make my best deal on a trade in for another Ford.

I did this and then Ford rebated me $4000 on top of my best deal!!! This is how I drove Fords for 40 years. Subaru should do the same.

I have the 2013 Outback with 70000 miles on it and would like to trade it in on another one, a 2017 model, but am concerned that the "oil consumption" issue will remain with the new car. If the price was right, I would consider buying another Subaru.

Subaru Of America in Central Islip, New York - Bad Service from Star Subaru Services Dept.

I had called Star Subaru service when I noticed oil an leak on top of my engine. The rep. said to clean it. It may be nothing and if I see the oil again to call back. After 3 days I checked and once again the oil is there. I called for an appointment. Lou answered the phone. I explained why I am calling. And that I noticed the engine vibrates when the A/c it turned on. He stated that it is normal for the engine to vibrate. and to see him on Sat 9/10/2016. 730am. In the meantime the vibrations have gotten worse and especially when I step on the brakes. I get to the service dept. I am the first customer. And Lou said I am in for an oil change. I said I have an oil leak and other concerns. he started to complain he has only 2 guys doing oil changes and light bulb changes only on Sat. They do not say on the Web site. That they only due oil changes on Sat.That I have to leave the car and it will be checked on Monday. Not even take a look today.I step out of the office to make a phone call. I noticed that my car is being driven to the gate of the yard. No one even asked me will I be staying or leaving. Is this how you treat the customers. I have never in a million years have I experienced this type of service from anyone. This only show that Star Subaru miss informs customers and treat them rudely.
