I buy my Subaru in November 2008 and I have so many problem with it I spend more money fixing than driving. Now in June of 2014 the engine blew, after I paid for it. everyone said this is the best make ever and I went and got it but I think you tell lie it's impossible to purchase a 2007 TriBeCa and it last only 7 years

Our Outback has a power issue, sticks at 25 mph and has trouble going up hills and coming off stops. 113,000 miles on odometer. We have taken it to 3 Subaru dealerships and an independent shop. $5,000.00 and many new parts installed. No change at all. The last...

I have all of the same problems in my 2015 Forrester. No access to phone with roof open.

Random dropped calls. Bluetooth won't accept phone GPS. Can't download phonebook. No help at Diablo Subaru.

They say the system is 10 years old.

They have told me to contact Subaru at 1800 subaru 3.

Subaru Of America in Saint Paul, Minnesota - Catastrophic Failures - 100,000 miles - 'soccer mom'

3.3
Details
Heartbroken. My parents have two Subarus including a 1995 Legacy with 250,000+ Miles and no issues. I drank the Kool-Aid an purchased a 2008 Outback. At 100,000 miles - head gasket failure. A year later (120,000 miles), transmission rebuild and pinion bearing. If I drove in the mountains, hauled trailers/boats or was Mario Andretti, I could understand. However, I am a soccer mom, drive in sea-level flat Minnesota and maintain my car regularly. I feel hoodwinked and bait and switched. Insult to injury? I just received my last 'Drive' Magazine. It's as if they knew the car was going to totally *** out on me. I will never, ever, ever, ever buy another Subaru. If it weren't for the residual trade in value, I would light it for a bon fire, invite my friends and make s'mores.

Subaru Of America - 2013 XV Crosstrek Lemon - My first and last

1.5
Details
I've put 80K miles on my Crosstrek in just under 3 years. About a year ago, the transmission was replaced - thankfully under warranty. In the last 6 months, I've had both wheel bearings on the right side replaced by my local mechanic. Sensing more issues, I contacted Subaru of America complaining that the car was experiencing more problems than it should at this point in it's life. They instructed me to take it a Subaru dealer (Colonial Subaru in Danbury, CT) for a diagnosis. I was told I needed to replace the 2 front axles - costing @ $1,150. Subaru offered to cover half as a concession. Then, I contacted my local mechanic (who diagnosed the same issue the previous week) and he quoted me a price of $521 for the same job. I asked Subaru of America if they would still cover half the cost and they said no. Bottom line - if I used their "concession" it would have cost me more. Some customer service. Shame on you Subaru. I'm no longer a fan.
