I got a "tune up" at a Subaru dealer. They didn't even change my oil and filter, charged $350 and sent me home unknowingly with 2 mice nests and a chewed through wire in my engine. Had I not looked under the hood the next day, I wouldn't have known any of...

Try canceling your order and getting your money back. Then, take your cash to another, more honest car company.

Do you talk like that when you go into the dealership? Maybe an Independent mechanic and some English classes might solve your Subaru problems.

I'm seeing a marked trend in Subaru Dealership's nationwide, (especially the mid-west) of their service departments taking advantage of people with little mechanical prowess, especially women. Speaking proper English might deter some of the rampant dishonesty at Subaru dealerships.

As well as I can make out the intent of this message, it appears that he is looking for a Chrysler-Jeep dealer page! What does Subaru have to do with this complaint?

The check engine light, cruise light and anti skid light are on. The MPG guage swings back and forth like a pendullem. This will be the third time the vehicle has been to the dealer for this and other things. It is only THREE months old. When I had a question about...

Subaru Of America in O Fallon, Missouri - Outfront liars in Subaru of Cherry Hill New Jersey

We entered a deal with the Subaru of Cherry Hill New Jersey dealership where we were supposed to trade in our car and buy a new car that was not yet in stock. When the car arrived (in a considerable delay), they attempted to avoid the deal, and made up damage that did not exist on our car to try to reduce the trade-in price. Further, they tried (twice) to double the tax charge ("by mistake"). This is clearly an outfront deception. Finally, the sales persons held us there for over 4 hours before finally settling the deal on the agreed-upon terms. If you value your time and money, there are other dealerships in the area.

I'd suggest a dealership in another state. I'd avoid New York, any state in the mid-west too.

In fact, after reading 37 reviews, the only one that was positive, came out of the Subaru Dealership in Bend, OR.

Free gold?! Serious?!

Subaru Of America in Boston, Massachusetts - SUBURU Natick MA "Play to Win" is a big fraud.

They are a big Fraud. They made us drive all the way to Natick saying you either win 25000 or get 2 Gold coins as a consolation prize if you do not win. Obviously we didn't win but when we asked for the Gold coins the Guy said sure and gave us 2 coins of $1. What a shame. When we said they are not Gold coins he said miss they are Gold Color coins we colored them with gold color. Than I said you stated Gold Coins not Gold Color coins, his attitude was "This is what it is". They are selling cars and they think they can win Consumer hearts by making them fool and embarrassing them by giving them 2 dollors.

Why do some people continue to feel as if they can get something for free? They were MADE to drive some distance for something for nothing.

Perhaps they are accustomed to freebees from the taxpayers. Right?

Subaru Of America in Houston, Texas - Subaru Dealership Testing Engine Codes

Took my subaru in and paid $90 to have the computer analyze the check engine light codes. I was told that the test would tell me everything they needed to know about what was wrong. After they ran the test there were two different codes that needed to be checked out. They would tell me about one but if I wanted to know about the other it would be another $90. This is why dealers have the well earned reputation of being rip off artists. I have tried both Subaru service departments in Louisville and have been equally disapointed in the high cost and low level of service. I will not go to them again, and I will definately not buy another Subaru.

Other mechanics besides Subaru have diagnostic equipment. You should search them out, or better yet, get rid of the car, and buy another brand.

This has nothing to do with the make of your vehicle. Advance auto pats checks this for FREE.

Also, the codes only tell you what caused the ECU to trigger the fault, not what will fix it. Your fault for trusting a dealer in the first place.
