Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Contacted advocacy, Corporate Subaru, and Rebecca investigated and had check sent.

Having the worst car ownership experience possible in a Subaru.
User's recommendation: Consider an alternative to Subaru cars by finding a reputable car manufactured by a company that shows they have confidence in their vehicle and respect for the consumers life with safe auto testing and manufacturing processes.

Verified Reviewer | Camden, New JerseyPlethora of car trouble with my XT Touring model forester that was “Subaru certified”
No contact besides automated “ how was your service surveys”
Thank God I purchased the extended warranty because of the car wouldve cost me double for the amount of times Ive been in there.
Theres not enough space in this form for me to tell you how terrible its been.
I would never ever ever buy a Subaru again, and not only because the car had so many issues, but because the service department was pathetic.
Subaru of America is complete trash as well, and doesnt even respond to my emails or phone calls anymore.
I just talk to them about a serious issue that was going on with my car and the customer service rep said that he would mark it urgent so someone would contact me in 24 hours.
Its been 10 days and they haven't contacted me yet.
Going over the stack of paperwork, I just realized this is the 5th transmission thats been in this vehicle and theres only 71,000 miles on it. They replaced it three times at 29,000 miles!!!
- Vehicle they sold me and the service provided
Preferred solution: Full refund and an apology
User's recommendation: Choose another brand

Verified Reviewer | Colver, PennsylvaniaMiss information on warranty
I bought a 2023 Subaru cross track in Daytona Florida had to move back to Pennsylvania to take care of my mother. The Delaney Subaru in Indiana Pennsylvania will not honor my maintenance contract.
I called the Daytona Subaru. dealership where I purchased a car and they told me that my maintenance plan (that I had to pay for out of pocket) was for their location only! I was never advised about their policies per location. I also purchased.
The 10 year extended warranty. I am extremely unhappy. Needless to say this is my second brand new Subaru. It will be my last.
When you buy a new car, you expect to have free maintenance for at least three years! They cheated me. And you cant get to talk to any human being in the corporate office customer service, they make you jump through hoops, and they send you to a website where you have to pay a membership fee to be able to talk to someone!
Absolutely ridiculous! I am so angry I may trade my car and get a different brand.
User's recommendation: Make sure you’re not paying for a maintenance warranty on your car, unless you never plan to move in your entire life!

I can verify this as accurate my 16 crosstrek’s transmission went out at 90k miles and then again at 162k. A solenoid valve went out on the vehicle leading to hard shifts and a Christmas light spectacle on my dashboard.
The technicians at subaru failed to diagnose the problem stating I’d need a new transmission rather than just replace the valve body. Its difference between an $800 repair and a $10,000.00 transmission. That’s not a typo. A new transmission will cost $10,0000.00 just for the part.
The diagnosis $200. You know they are lying to you when they tell you “we see a metallic sheen in your oil”. Dropped the trans and replaced the valve body myself. Sold my car and bought a Chevy.
When anyone asks me I frequently shoot my mouth off about my Subaru experience. Subaru is a scam.
Its bufu expensive. Don’t do it to yourself.
I am just realizing now this is the fifth transmission that’s been in this vehicle and there’s only 71,000 miles on it!!!! They replaced the transmission three times in 2019 at 29,000 miles.
The first two times they tried, the transmissions were bad. Then I just got another new transmission at 71,000 miles
I can verify this as accurate. My 2
