I purchasedse a Used 2010 Subaru Forester in August 2016 at 50k and apparently One owner.

At 80k , I had to replace the tranny. 4 months later the replaced tranny needed replacing.

6 months later at 120k my car engine had to be replaced. Unfortunately, the warranty had expired and I had to borrow 6k to pay for the engine. Every 2-3 months I put in800-1000 more for something going bad. I still owe 12 k on the car and it's at 135k.

I have been left stranded on the highway during Colorado snow storms and the dealership will not return my cars. My car is my life. I use it to work and work pays for my food, my safe space to sleep, my entire existence revolves around my car. I put 25k a year on this car.

I need a reliable vehicle.

Having car payments on top of 6-10000 k per year of maintenance is not what I'd hoped for when purchasing this vehicle 3 years ago. Don't buy Subaru.
