Subaru Of America in Huntington, New York - Shop can't duplicate my complaint

when starting (when cold) and going about 50 feet and turning right i get a hesitation, almost cutting out, for a second sometimes more. Like many years ago the power steering would cause the car to hesitate with a tight turn.I know this car is all computerized so it's not the same, but it feels like this.

Called roadside assistance. They said my 2016 was not covered. I told them we traded that in for a new 2018 outback. No record on file. Had to jump thru hoops get vin number etc. My wife is very ill and they want me running back and forth. finally said on the way. Waited two hours no call. They said it was denied?? Not sure why, so I could have waited all night. I may have to bring my wife to hospital. I have owned many Subaru's but this is the last straw. I will never own another after this terrible service!!!

I have to disagree with you. I work for a Subaru dealer in the Midwest and I have seen Subaru help people who they should not have helped.

Whenever there has been "Gray Areas" Subaru has taken the side of the owner. A technician would disassemble the engine and inspect it.

If the wear is showing, then a receipt won't help. Buy a new car and only allow the dealer to service it and then you couldn't possibly be at fault.

Subaru Of America in Endicott, New York - 2016 subaru outback missing licence plate holder

I purchased my first new car in my life. 2016 subaru outback, about $31,000. Did not come with a license plate holder for the front bumper. Was told by corporate that they are Available for purchase at a dealership. Are you kidding me???? The car is very nice....However, I am now a little leary of their "customer service" in the future. I guess I am glad my Subaru came equipped with the rubber blades for my windshield wipers.

I hate the inside. Passenger seat to high up . Console to far back and to small.No vanity lights on mirror. Controls are bad. Seats are to small . Controls on door light up but on passenger side they don't Go to edmunds .com and look up reviews mark 405 and see what he says. You pay a lot of money for this car and you get nothing. Drive this car at night and see how it looks inside and what's missing. O back up camera screen to small and the lines are to thin to see. O well good luck look at the. Crv it has everything.

Leased 2014 Subaru legacy limited Fully loaded eye sight nav Dec 2013 had dealer install spoiler on deck lid now deck lid is warped car was delivered covered in snow did not discover till weather cleared.Took to service department had car for 5days Deck lid still warped.p/u car now notice drivers side rear rotor has grooves in it other rotors are in poor shape hearing grinding sound in brakes. car has 2800 miles on it Not what I expected from Subaru or $34000 car. Cars been back to dealer 2 times going for 3. Own 2011 Camry Xle never been back to dealer except for routine maintence

The mechanic that did my head gasket 8 years ago was still in business and did the job for 1700.00 which is a great price for the NY area.

My understanding is that Subaru is using much better gaskets on the new models made from steel.

My mechanic told me that subaru's engines (horizontal) are more susceptible to using bad gasoline and oil, so to change oil every 3k miles using semi synthetic or synthetic. Subaru's triple layer steel gasket should perform better than previous years, one would hope.

I understand that the standard stereos are alot worse. My 98 had a great sounding system and so does my 08 even without the subwoofer. I am surprised that on a Limited the stereo would sound bad...
