Subaru Of America - Very disappointed in their advance notice of defects.
Due to a defect in the radio, I do not have a radio, CD player, blue-tooth, navigational system, back-up camera or any of the features that first attracted me to the vehicle. Was told that they do not do recalls unless it is a safety issue. Was told I must wait 5 to 8 weeks for a remedy. In the meantime, I am making payments on a car that doesn't even have the basics, much less the "extra features". I know it's through no fault of my local service department, but I feel like Subaru knew of this defect and should have recalled the effected models BEFORE everything failed.

Subaru Of America - 2018 Radio Issue with no date for resolution
I purchased a new 2018 Outback the end of last year and one month ago the radio went black and no longer works. The dealer and their parts department told me that they literally have no idea when a radio will be shipped to them to repair my car. We as a family are on 6th Subaru, (my second Outback), plus we bought 3 brand new Subaru's in a six month time period. If this radio issue is indicative of the kind of customer service you have now, we will no longer be purchasing any Subaru's going forward. I never have car like this I purchased brand new fully loaded and non stop having problems noises my warranty is gone after 3 years and that’s when problems start I pay to replace si many things still have noises and paint coming off rust is Everywhere

The throwout bearing in my subaru forester went out and I need to find out if it was covered under warranty.

My call kept gettng disconnected and no one called back or returned my email I sent. I am frustrated with Subaru in general now.
