I got a call from the local Subaru dealership. Subaru or America looked at my case and determined that the warranty did not cover the problem, but they did offer me $1000 towards repair costs for taking so long to give me an answer. They also offered warranty labor....

After writing this review the service manager apologized profusely, and was a complete professional. Tom made it right and treated us fairly. We simply wanted communication and he more than made up for it and we have our vehicle back in solid running condition.

Resolved: Subaru Of America - When is my Subaru Legacy coming?

I ordered a Legacy this past june what would be my 5th Subaru and was told it would be here on sept 5th then the 12th then the 15th. I have corresponded with Ms. Lois Palmer who has informed me after several requests that "she heard they were waiting for a part" and has been unable to find out anything else such as timeframe,what part, transportation schedule of delivery. It has been at least 12 days and the paucity of information adds to the frustration. I know things happen but this is the 21th century when I last checked and someone is bound to know more than your car is not on the way and I heard "they" are waiting on a part. Pardon my sarcasm but was this heard it through the Grapevine? If she heard something can't she go back to that or any other source and find out more? Ms. Palmer states she is doing all she can but I have to say I am a bit dubious on that score. Some clarification would greatly diminish the frustration that is undermining what should be a more positive experience. Kind Regards Frank Hastings

Resolved: Subaru Of America in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania - Defective Satellite radio - Defective front alignment

Had to take the car to the shop where I regularly buy tires for a correct alignment but Subaru cust service reimbursed me for it. They also said the way it drives has a lot to do with the tires it came with so when they wear out I will be replacing them with Continentals.

As far as the satellite radio issue, I guess we just have to live with it.

The reception sucks where we live and operate the vehicle but there's nothing they can or will do about it as I am told from corporate headquarters. My complaint is why offer a satellite radio as an option if it's not a quality receiver?

So far i have had our brand new legacy back to the dealer twice for these problems. They tell me there's nothing wrong with the radio even though it fades out and loses signal constantly when our other brand name vehicles do not and the car "road walks" on any road surface all the time. The dealer seems to blow this off as "normal" and so Subaru of America takes their word for it. So far I am getting nowhere and getting pissed real fast. I feel like I may just have wasted 25 grand!! Next step is writing the corporation a certified letter then my attorney will get involved. What a joke!
