I own a 2018 Forester XT and had issue with the motor, check engine light came on it wasn't performing normal at all. so I dicided for the first time to use the Subaru Road Assistance I called it does not have a regular agent to speak too or give you the choice to do it. Is all computer so it send you a text with a quote number to get into a link. I did the process put in my location and everything seem ok so I waited for the tow truck nobody showed up neither an update of tow truck location or call to let me know anything. This really disappointed me a lot. To the point that I just drove my truck to the dealership myself even do it was not performing right. They need to do something about that.

Here is an idea, put more gas in the tank and you won't run out. What have we consumers turned into?

Never let you car go below 1/4 tank. Have a flashlight.

Check your tire pressure. Stop relying on a toll free number to bail you out because you are irresponsible.

Subaru Of America - Several issues with Subaru customer service

1. When we purchased my used car, we signed up for the warrenty. It has been brought to my attention we have been charged for TWO warranty plans. It has yet to be resolved. 2. I got an oil change yesterday and my car broke down at 1am. Called subaru roadside assistance and 4 tow trucks later and 10 hours later, finally someone is coming to pick up my car. 3. Everyone who has tried to help doesn't actually help and has made the problem more complicated.

I still don’t know what to do if I need my car unlocked remotely. I requested a new key, covered under portfolio contract.

I left voicemails and responded to emails. Never addressed. Made another appointment to get the key. Key not there.

Rescheduled, and wAs called 4 days later to make an appointment.

Went for the appointment and Subaru was not sure if it could be programmed without interfering with the auto start. Then I got a call and email that I missed my appointment!!!!!

Called Road Side Assistance- got a text stating 60 minutes! Then another increasing it to 90 minutes!

Then another increasing it another 30 minutes! Called they said heavy traffic- still no help- calling AAA- better service
