This was the first time I needed to call Subaru Roadside Assistance and I am only grateful I was not stranded on the side of the road or I would have frozen to death. I waited on hold for over an hour and finally gave up and called the service department of Fred Beans Subaru where I had purchased the car.

They could not do anything to assist me, saying that I needed to go through Subaru Roadside Assistance. I finally got off the phone and I enrolled in AAA and within an hour, my car was towed and I was on my way.

I will never recommend Subaru Roadside Assistance since it could end up being more dangerous to think that help is on the way when all you are really doing is waiting (and possibly freezing to death!) I will also never use Fred Beans for my service since they were just as unhelpful. Subaru should be ashamed to put their name on this service!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Answer the calls within 5 minutes or do not offer the service.

I didn't like: Service, Service of local dealer.
