MY 2013 OUTBACK WITH JUST 35,435 MILES ON IT NEEDED A VALVE ADJUSTMENT. THE MORNING I BROUGHT IT IN I CHECKED ALL MY FLUIDS, BECAUSE I WAS WARNED ABOUT HOW SUBARU WILL CHECK ALL THE FLUIDS AND MAKE IT SOUND LIKE THE PROBLEM WAS CREATED BY LACK OF SERVICE.

AFTER BEING TOLD MY CAR WAS 2 QUARTS LOW ON OIL AND THAT WAS WHAT THEY ADDED, I WAS TOLD THAT IT NEEDED A VALVE ADJUSTMENT AND THEY WERE TRYING TO GET IT DONE ON WARRANTY. I QUESTIONED THE FACT THAT THE CAR WAS 2 QTS LOW AND IF IT TRULY WAS LOW, WHY DIDN'T THE OIL LIGHT COME ON? NO ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION AND THEY DID THE VALVE ADJUSTMENT UNDER WARRANTY.

WHEN ASKED WHY DOES A CAR WITH 35,435 MILES ON IT NEED A VALVE ADJUSTMENT, THE MECHANIC TOLD ME HE HAD NO EXPLANATION OTHER THAN IT WAS PUT TOGETHER IMPROPERLY AT THE TIME IT WAS ASSEMBLED. BUYER BEWARE!
