Subaru Of America - Very unhappy with what seems to be a fragile body and paint issue
I purchased my 2014 Legacy Sedan on 06/24/2104 and have been very disappointed with the fragility of my ( "built for mountain, etc. terrain) I would never use the word "pissed" but extremely disappointed in this car.
You can just look at it and there's a scratch or a dent. I never had this happen with my Outback, Hyundai Sonato and definitely not with my Cutlass. Even when I was run off the road and had my Dealership repair the right fender and front bumper on 03/02/2016, it's looking like it wasn't fixed. Yesterday as I slowly backed out of my garage and accidently hit the right side mirror, it crumpled like tissue paper!
I am having the Dealership repair that at the tune of $250.57 on July 31st. I had thought about buying another Subaru, maybe an Impreza, but have definitely changed my mind. I have a Power Train warranty (Mastertech) for 60 months or 80,000 miles. Is it possible to have my own mechanic take care of needed maintenance documented and still retain this warranty or do I have to stay with Hunter's Auto Group?
However, I am thinking more and more about selling it. Thank you for your time and consideration, Kathryn Merrell
